FORT WORTH, TEXAS (PRWEB) AUGUST 20, 2018 - High Quality, Permanent Laser Identification for a Variety of Wire & Cable
Known for their value-added support services, CIA&D (Co-Operative Industries Aerospace & Defense) has recently expanded their wire marking capabilities. Having purchased two new state of the art pieces of equipment, CIA&D has doubled previous wire marking capacity. With increased line and marking speeds, multiple spool feeding, integrated desktop operating systems and automated production modes, the new Laselec and Spectrum units are improving efficiencies for our B2B customers.
CIA&D provides marking services for customer supplied materials. With state-of-the-art laser identification technology, CIA&D can permanently mark a broad range of wire and cable jacket types and constructions to meet customer specific requirements.
This is a high quality, durable identification method for use with high performance fluoropolymer finished electrical wires （wires forms）and fiber optics used by the aerospace industry. Our system will effectively mark on PTFE , FEP, ETFE or similar jackets. These fluoropolymer materials can generally be marked in all forms including extruded polymers, thin tapes, or dispersion topcoats.
This UV wire marking and processing meets major aircraft manufacturers and harness manufacturer standards and qualifications. Tests include legibility, contrast, cross section, fluid immersion, light immersion, thermal, surface resistance and dieelectric withstand.
For a high quality finished product, count on the added value of CIA&D’s Support Services.
